Because I really suck at keeping my blog posts up-to-date, this is from October. Well, you get to see reminders of the beautiful fall we had!
The weekend before our birthdays (mine October 9, Colton’s October 8) we took a drive up the mountains. We were watching Autumn for a few days so we brought her along with us.
We drove up Farmington canyon toward Francis Peak, where you used to be able to walk around the radar balls at the top. Fall colors were raging fiercely as we got higher and higher.
Colton enjoyed playing around with the camera, and I enjoyed the beautiful views. We decided to take the long way back, around the backside of the peak. We stumbled upon some of the most beautiful meadows we’d ever seen.
It was like a dream. The picture don’t quite capture the colors, the peace and serenity. Colton decided then and there that we were going to live in that spot.
We’ve had the most amazing fall this year. The one positive thing about Global Warming, I suppose.
