For President’s Day my family is planning on going snowshoeing. Well, since I am a student, I can rent them from the school for a much cheaper price than most other places. After class on Friday, my dad met me at school and we Shuttled up to the recreational building on the very eastern side of campus. We left carrying five pairs of shoes and polls. My dad didn’t have the car because it was getting fixed downtown, so we had to carry all our stuff halfway down campus to find a TRAX stop. On the way, there was a maintenance-golf-cart thing that two guys were driving down the street. I asked if they were driving past the TRAX station a couple blocks down, and they said they were only going one block but that they could take us that far. So we hopped onto the back of the cart and I thought I was going to fall out the whole time. There was one handle to hold on to, and no restraining things. Then we got on the TRAX with all our stuff. There was a guy who got on carrying a bag that looked like he had made himself out of some type of yarn. His hat was made out of yarn too, and he had another ball of yarn he was rolling up. I’m always really impressed with people who make all of their possessions. They’re putting their talents to good use!
I’ve become an expert at taking stalker photos of people. Something I’m weirdly proud of.
I’m sure we made quite the scene that day carrying all of our stuff around campus.
